Making Books Talk!   FREE EVENT
 
Wednesday 4th June  at 2pm. Nottingham Central Library

A fascinating talk by actor and audio book narrator Saul Reichlin.
Learn more about the process of bringing audio books to life.   
Saul is an actor who has worked on  stage, and in  television and film and has narrated over 50 television documentories.  His audio  book recordings include work by Val McDermid, David Hewson, Henning Mankell, Deon Meyer and Steig Larsson. In 2010 his recording of "The Girl Who Played With Fire" won the audible "Sounds of Crime" award.   Saul will be speaking about his work narrating audio books, in a session that will appeal to readers, listeners and performers alike.

This is a free event with light refreshments provided.  No advance booking is required.



This talk is part of a showcase event at the library in partnership with Mysight.  From 10-4pm there is also an opportunity to try out a range of equipment designed for visually impaired people and to recieve support and advice from local organizations.  The day also inlcudes IT help sessions, building tours and an audio book group.  If you would like to hear Saul Reichlin, please just come along at 2pm, but if you would like more information on the showcase event please ring 0115 915 2825
