Friday 1st June 2 - 3.30pm
Taking place in the Methodist Chapel, Lowdham.
With the ever wonderful Sheelagh Gallagher from
Nottinghamshire Libraries.
With so many books to choose from, how do you decide on your
summer reading?
Sheelagh Gallagher is the Literature and Reading Development
Officer for Nottinghamshire, and is here to advise, guide and recommend books
for you to take on holiday, whether you want to find out more about the place
where you are staying, catch up with a classic you always meant to read, get up
to date with some contemporary fiction, or simply to escape. Page turning reads
abound in this informal and fun session celebrating why holidays and books are
the perfect combination. (And there will be goody bags!)
Tickets available from The Bookcase, Lowdham 0115 966 3219
Each event £5 (£4 concessions, £3 friends of LBFestival) including
tea and cake.
