Thursday 21 June
10 – 11am, Sherwood Library.
A FREE event
Chris Nickson, writer of crime novels set in Leeds in the
1730s, and Simon Heywood, storyteller and musician, will be visiting Sherwood
Library, bringing their unique blend of readings, conversation, tales true and
false, and even some old folk songs that feature in Chris's novels The Broken
Token and Cold Cruel Winter. Their tales explore the darker side of England and
offer murder, mayhem, laughter and music from the deep shadows of the past.
