Carrol will be talking about her autobiographical
novel, "Survivor" and sharing
the story of her struggle against domestic violence, school bullying and abuse.
Survivor is Jamaican born, Nottingham based writer Carrol
Rowe's first novel which looks at the personal experiences of a young Jamaican
woman living in the UK. The novel,
written in the first person, explores the narrator's experiences with a violent
father, school bullies and a deceitful first love. Carrol's story is one of courage and hope.
