Meet best-selling authors Karen Maitland & Helen Hollick

Karen Maitland and Helen Hollick are appearing at the Gedling Book Festival between 3pm and 5pm. This is a not-to-be missed free event for fans of historical fiction.

At Arnot Hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 6LU

3.00pm - Medieval Murder, Mystery and The Inquisition
Karen Maitland will be talking about her interest in the Medieval and her current book Falcons of Fire and Ice with a look at the research behind her medieval thrillers, from King John's spies to the deadly secrets of an Icelandic cave.

Karen has written four stand-alone thrillers as well as her ‘joint’ crime novels written with the group of historical authors known as the Medieval Murderers.


4.00pm - Panel Q & A Session
A chance to fire your questions at Karen Maitland and Helen Hollick during a special historical fiction panel discussion.

Helen is the author of The Sea Witch Voyages series, the Pandragon’s Banner trilogy and the Saxon series which includes Harold The King.
